Plateau Receives One of the Highest Customer Satisfaction Ratings in Survey of Learning Management System Users
RESPONDENTS TO BRANDON-HALL.COM SURVEY GIVE PLATEAU HIGH MARKS FOR PRODUCT, SALES AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
FAIRFAX, Va. June 5, 2001 In a brandon-hall.com survey of companies using 22 of the world's leading learning management systems (LMS), Plateau Systems received one of the highest overall customer satisfaction ratings for its Enterprise Learning Management System and the professional teams that sell, install and support it.
Plateau was among the highest scoring companies in all six categories of Learning Management Systems Voice-of-the-Customer Study: What Buyers Like and Don't Like About What They Bought, available at www.brandon-hall.com, and it received the highest score when customers were asked to rank their overall satisfaction with their LMS and the support team behind it. The survey, performed by influential e-Learning researcher and consultant Brandon Hall, canvassed 140 companies that use learning management systems as a platform for their corporate learning and training programs.
Every one of Plateau's scores was well above the industry average, and its cumulative ranking was significantly higher than all the publicly traded companies included in the survey.
Our business has grown over the years because of strong relationships and happy customers, so we're pleased to see that reflected in these results, said Paul Sparta, Chairman and CEO of Plateau Systems. On each project we undertake, we listen carefully to our clients, tailor our software to their needs, and stay close by throughout implementation and beyond. That is the principle on which we have built this company from the beginning. We are all very proud of the way our customers talk about us in this survey.
We surveyed LMS customers to help upcoming customers choose the right system for their organization based on real-life implementation experience, says Brandon Hall. Comments and ratings from actual customers speak volumes about a company's product and people.
Hall's Voice-of-the-Customer survey is the first comprehensive effort to have enterprise customers assess their satisfaction with their learning management systems and providers. In addition to numerical ratings, the brandon-hall.com study found uniformly positive reviews from Plateau users about Plateau's sales, installation and support:
Sales:
- Sensitive to our particular needs readily available to answer questions from all participants in the sale.
- Quick response to phone calls…. Able to answer questions.
Installation:
- Worked very hard during conversion from former system to upgraded system.
- Training was tailored to our specific needs.
Support:
- Technical problems are few and far between… When there is a glitch, they respond immediately.
- Excellent technical support…. Very knowledgeable staff.
- [Our] requests for product improvements or changes are all considered and most are implemented.
