Customers Give Plateau High Marks in Comprehensive Customer Satisfaction and Usage Survey

More than 90% of customers give Plateau an overall rating of excellent or very good; results backed by high stability of customer base and rapid adoption of latest technology

ARLINGTON, Va. December 10, 2003 Plateau Systems, the leading provider of enterprise learning management systems (LMS), announced today positive results from its most recent comprehensive customer satisfaction and usage survey. Plateau polled its customers across industries (including government, life sciences, energy, insurance, manufacturing, transportation, defense, retail and financial services) on their overall satisfaction with Plateau 4 LMS and the services and support behind the solution. Results of the survey, conducted during Plateau's October 2003 Insights User Conference in San Antonio, Texas, include:

  • 91 percent of respondents described their overall satisfaction with Plateau 4 LMS as excellent or very good
  • 89 percent of respondents described the overall usability of Plateau 4 LMS as excellent or very good
  • 41 percent of those surveyed have been a Plateau customer for more than three years; 15 percent have been customers for more than five years
  • Roughly 85 percent of Plateau's customers are currently using Plateau 4 LMS the highest adoption rate in the industry for a next-generation LMS platform

Other highlights include high satisfaction ratings for Plateau's Global Services Organization, which includes Professional Services, Knowledge Services for training, and Customer Support. More than 90 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with Plateau's timely communication with customers through a number of multimedia and interpersonal channels.

The results of Plateau's most recent customer satisfaction survey are in line with previous customer satisfaction studies performed by industry consultants and media outlets. Plateau received the highest overall satisfaction rating in the industry in a 2001 study conducted by e-Learning consultant Brandon Hall. Plateau also received the highest customer satisfaction score among enterprise LMS providers in a subsequent survey conducted by U.S. News & World Report.
